- 4” high numbers, with numbers on both sides

While every driveway is unique, Friends of Sugar Loaf Fire Department offers general guidelines for installing signs:
- Mounted on a post within 10 feet of the edge of the road.
- The bottom of the sign should be 3-5 ft above the road.
- Should we suggest the size of the the T-post (available at Home Depot or McGuckins) and the type of hardware (nuts, bolts, or bailing wire)??????
- Orient so the numbers can be seen by responders coming from either direction.
- The sign should be on the same side of the road as your driveway, preferably so a vehicle coming from Boulder (e.g., an ambulance) encounters the sign and then the driveway.
